Great place to go after a workout at the YMCA across the road.

I was a little leery when I first went to this restaurant. I thought the prices were a little high. Now I am a big fan of their chicken tacos. MMM, not to mention the unlimited chips with a salsa bar. What is not to like about that? Although the rice and or beans are nothing to write home about, 2 tacos and unlimited chips are enough to fill any hungry gal on a shopping trip.

I love this place! My favorite entree by far is the Sierra Sandwich with Chicken Tinga. I buy that almost every time I go there. Their other entrees are good, like the enchiladas, quesadillas, and burritos, but nothing beats the Sierra sandwich with chicken tinga! I didn't care for their fish tacos though. I love the fact that they have fast food prices for food that tastes almost just as good as Ol Mexico and Don Pablo's. The free chips and salsa is also a plus, but I got sick of them. They have a card, each time you buy a meal they punch one out and when you fill it up you get a free meal!

We wanted something quick and easy for a late dinner and my boyfriend and I LOVE Mexican. Service was friendly! The food was decent. The rice was not super, but overall fair for the price.

Wow !!! This place use to be great but the Mexicans have left chipotles and moved in to this joint. The quality if the food has dropped tremendously( not because of the Mexicans) but in general. Tables are dirty the cashier mumbles and they charge 99 cents for the chips that was once free. The salsas taste watered down ..... This is too bad! Maybe it explains why the place is empty at 6:24pm.

$40. Fifteen minute wait for soggy tacos, undressed salad, rancid sour cream, quesadillas without crisp, and everything tossed into styrofoam containers and then bagged on the side so everything mixed together. Up charge for chips and salsa. No napkins, no silverware. To top it off when I asked after ten minutes if it would be ready soon, the kitchen staff called me a fat fussbudget, not realizing I speak Spanish. I used to eat here regularly, and have eaten at other Baja Sols, but I will not be back here ever. Even were there not at least six other fast food options within half a mile. And neither will the others in my party

Friendly and fast service. So-so food. The guacamole isn't very good. Next time we'll go to Chipotle across the street.

Ate lunch here today...2 tacos with Beef Barbacoa. I have never eaten anything so salty in my life. I have chapped lips.

Use to be a great place for lunch or dinner, but quality has been getting worse for some time now, staff has changed over and now seem very rude and unhappy to be there, prices have gone up, and the one thing that really made them unique and was really good, they have now took away: the free chip and salsa bar. This weekly customer is done. Too bad.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
